Last updated 3 September 2026. DejumbleWord.com is a free word-game toolbox. This page explains what information the site handles and how.
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses or payment details. The letters you type into the unscrambler and other tools are processed in your browser and are never sent to our servers.
Local storage
The Daily Jumble game saves your progress and streak in your browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off. This data stays on your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. For details of how Google uses data when you use our site, see Google's privacy & terms.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message before personalised ads are loaded, and can change their choice at any time through the privacy link in the footer of any page.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Netlify, which may keep standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify individuals.
Children
DejumbleWord is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
